Solex provides an easy way to record, customize, and replay, sequences of accesses to a web server or web application. It is a remarkable tool to test web applications, for regressions or for stress testing. Test scripts are recorded from any internet browser thanks to a built-in HTTP proxy and can be edited in a dedicated GUI.

Installing this plugin
This plugin is not shipped in any distribution. You must manually install it on an EasyEclipse distribution. No other installation will be needed, because this plugin has no dependencies.
Getting started
Solex's home page includes a very good tutorial. The best way to start with Solex is to follow that tutorial.
Tests
(Notes that tests are only displayed if the page is served statically)- Passing:
- File > New > Project, General > Project - in Firefox 1.5: Preference > General, push "Connection Settings", radio button "Manual Proxy configuration", enter HTTP Proxy: "127.0.0.1" and Port: 8088, OK - File > New > Other, Solex > New HTTP Session - menu Solex > Start recording an HTTP Session - in Firefox, go to http://www.google.com, search for something - should appear in Eclipse - menu Solex > Stop recording an HTTP session - menu Solex > Play all request - should replay (but no way to check at this stage, would require more work)
