The Java ARchive Launching plugin for Eclipse provides the ability to run or debug an executable JAR file from the context explorer menu.

Installing this plugin

This plugin is in the EasyEclipse Desktop Java distribution.

If you install this plugin on another EasyEclipse distribution, the dependent plugin Eclipse Java Development Tools must be present in the EasyEclipse distribution, or must be installed separately.

Getting started

Right-click on a jar file an select jarLaunch > Configure run. Make sure that the Main class is the main class you want to run. If not, select Browse to browse for the main class. Then hit Run to run the class found in the jar file.
